Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers about membership, fees, and coverage
Can I use my HSA or FSA to pay for my concierge membership?
HSA and FSA rules can vary depending on the type of expense and your individual plan. Concierge membership fees are not automatically eligible simply because you have an HSA or FSA. We recommend checking with your plan administrator or tax professional to determine whether any portion of your membership or other medical expenses qualifies for reimbursement.
Do I need health insurance to become a concierge member?
No. Health insurance is not required to join Dr. Roque’s concierge practice. The annual membership provides access to the concierge care outlined in your plan, including office and virtual visits, direct communication, preventive care, and care coordination.
Can I keep my health insurance while joining the concierge practice?
Yes. You can maintain your health insurance while receiving concierge care. Your insurance may still be useful for services outside the practice, such as hospital care, specialists, imaging, or other services that are not included in your membership.
Can I use a high-deductible health plan or wraparound insurance with concierge membership?
Yes, you may maintain a high-deductible or other health insurance plan alongside a concierge membership. However, how the membership fee and other medical expenses are treated for insurance or tax purposes depends on your specific plan and applicable rules. We recommend confirming coverage and eligibility directly with your insurance or plan administrator.
Does my concierge membership include an Executive Physical?
The concierge membership and Executive Physical are separate services. The current Executive Physical is offered as a comprehensive, physician-led evaluation with its own pricing. If you are a concierge member, ask the practice whether any membership-related credit or preferred pricing applies to your Executive Physical before scheduling.
Are there membership credits that can be applied toward an Executive Physical?
Any available membership credit toward an Executive Physical should be confirmed with the practice before scheduling, as eligibility and the amount of any credit may depend on your membership plan. The Executive Physical is currently listed separately from the annual concierge membership fee.
